The City of Bonney Lake has moved to an online application process. A completed online application is required to be considered for any City job opening. The City accepts applications for open positions only. Please review announcements and descriptions carefully. Incomplete application materials may disqualify you from consideration. If you apply for more than one opening, a separate submission is required for each position.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available through various departments and other agencies in the area. Please contact the appropriate office directly:
  • Bonney Lake Senior Center - call 253-863-7658.
  • Special Events including Spring Clean-Up and Beautify Bonney Lake.
  • Volunteer Commissions (Arts, Civil Service, Design, Parks, and Planning Commissions) - contact the City Clerk's Office at 253-862-8602.
  • Reserve Police Officer Program - closed for this year; please check back for future opportunities.

General Information - Human Resources

The mission of the Human Resources Office is to strategically work with City departments and employees to attract, hire, develop, motivate, and retain a qualified, diverse workforce dedicated to working together to deliver high quality services to the community.

The Human Resources Office is responsible for recruitment/retention, compensation, employee development, performance management, compliance with employment law, policy review and implementation, employee wellness and benefits program administration, communication, employee and labor relations, workplace safety and workers’ compensation, and Civil Service.
